Update for all Residents and Family Members
As most of you may know, Ontario will no longer be using the coloured framework and will be moving towards a three-step system. With that being said, this will include some changes here at Supples Landing.
- General Visitors are permitted.
- Short Term Absences for the following reasons: Essential Medical Appointments, Essential Pharmacy needs, Essential Groceries, and Outdoor Physical Activities- permitted.
- Overnight Absences are permitted. No isolation period for fully vaccinated residents is required upon return. For non-vaccinated residents or partially vaccinated residents isolation and a PCR test is required. While awaiting the PCR results, isolation must continue.
- Residents will also be permitted to leave the home for the day for outdoor social outings. While attending outdoor social outings, residents are encouraged to always wear masks, ensure proper social distancing is maintained and proper hand hygiene is used.
- Residents will be screened on departure of the home and on re-entry.
- We are encouraging families to drop off parcels/packages/groceries between the hours of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM to ensure there will be personnel who can properly sanitize any incoming packages.
- We strongly encourage our residents to wear a mask and practice social distancing when they are out of their suite.
- If at any point a resident voices feeling unwell, we remind you to reach out to our Nursing team so appropriate precautions can be put in place.
All Guidelines will be reassessed as needed.
Stay safe and well,
Your Management Team
